Religious faiths and creeds have greatly hampered our development.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

That creeds are getting to be less and less important to the average mind with every passing year is a good sign, I think, although I do not wish to talk about what is commonly called theology.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

The criticisms which have been hurled at me have not worried me. A man cannot control his beliefs.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

I try to say exactly what I honestly believe to be the truth, and more than that no man can do.

Thomas Edison Written Examples

I cannot see that unproved theories or sentiment should be permitted to have influence in the building of conviction upon matters so important.

Thomas Edison Written Examples

The thing which most impresses me about theology is that it does not seem to be investigating. It seems to be asserting, merely, without actual study.

Dyslexic Inventor

Moral teaching is the thing we need most in this world, and many of these men could be great moral teachers if they would but give their whole time to it.

Paine’s teachings have been debarred from schools everywhere and his views of life misrepresented until his memory is hidden in shadows, or he is looked upon as of unsound mind.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

We never had a sounder intelligence in this Republic. He [Paine] was the equal of Washington in making American liberty possible. Where Washington performed Paine devised and wrote. The deeds of one in the Weld were matched by the deeds of the other with his pen.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

Washington himself appreciated Paine at his true worth. Franklin knew him for a great patriot and clear thinker. He was a friend and confidant of Jefferson, and the two must often have debated the academic and practical phases of liberty.

Dyslexic Inventor

As we have not advanced, and perhaps never shall advance, beyond the Declaration and Constitution, so Paine has had no successors who extended his principles.

Dyslexic Inventor

Although the present generation knows little of Paine’s writings, and although he has almost no influence upon contemporary thought, Americans of the future will justly appraise his work. I am certain of it.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

The Declaration and the Constitution expressed in form Paine’s theory of political rights.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

We know that Jefferson had much to do with the document. Franklin also had a hand and probably was responsible in even larger measure for the Declaration.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

There is no doubt whatever that the two great documents of American liberty reflect the philosophy of Paine.

Dyslexic Inventor

…Then Paine wrote ‘Common Sense,’ an anonymous tract which immediately stirred the fires of liberty. It flashed from hand to hand throughout the Colonies. One copy reached the New York Assembly, in session at Albany, and a night meeting was voted to answer this unknown writer with his clarion call to liberty. The Assembly met, but could find no suitable answer.

Dyslexic Inventor

Tom Paine had inscribed a document which never has been answered adversely, and never can be, so long as man esteems his priceless possession.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

In ‘Common Sense’ Paine flared forth with a document so powerful that the Revolution became inevitable.

Thomas Edison Dyslexia Inventor

It must be remembered that ‘Common Sense’ preceded the declaration and affirmed the very principles that went into the national doctrine of liberty.

Thomas Edison Dyslexia Inventor

We are like tenant farmers chopping down the fence around our house for fuel when we should be using Nature’s inexhaustible sources of energy–sun, wind and tide. Thomas Edison Dyslexia Inventor

Thomas Edison Written Examples

I have heard it said that Paine borrowed from Montesquieu and Rousseau. Maybe he had read them both and learned something from each. I do not know. But I doubt that Paine ever borrowed a line from any man.

Thomas Edison Written Examples

He wrote with a clarity, a sharpness of outline and exactness of speech that even a schoolboy should be able to grasp.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

Paine would have been the last to look upon himself as a man of letters. Liberty was the dear companion of his heart; truth in all things his object.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

It was more than a defense of liberty; it was a world declaration of what Paine had declared before in the Colonies. His reasoning was so cogent, his command of the subject so broad, that his legion of enemies found it hard to answer him.

Thomas Edison Written Examples

Paine suffered then, as now he suffers not so much because of what he wrote as from the misinterpretations of others…

Thomas Edison Written Examples

I was always interested in Paine the inventor.

I find out what the world needs. Then I go ahead and try to invent it

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

I never did anything worth doing by accident, nor did any of my inventions come by accident; they came by work.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

The first requisite for success is the ability to apply your physical and mental energies to one problem incessantly without growing weary.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

Nearly every person who develops an idea works at it up to the point where it looks impossible, and then gets discouraged. That’s not the place to become discouraged.

This is the terrible thing about interest …But here is the point: If the Nation can issue a dollar bond it can issue a dollar bill.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

The difference between the bond and the bill is that the bond lets the money broker collect twice the amount of the bond and an additional 20%.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

It is absurd to say our Country can issue bonds and cannot issue currency. Both are promises to pay, but one fattens the usurer and the other helps the People.

Thomas Edison, Dyslexic Inventor, Dyslexic Genius

If the currency issued by the People were no good, then the bonds would be no good, either.

Thomas Edison Written Examples

More about Thomas Edison

Other inventions in navy British navy records included the Electric Car which was shaped like a carraige but without horses.  It was the start of many feuds early 1900s.  Thomas Edison has copies of this work and worked on re-patenting them in a new patent system.

Patents that were intended to become public for free use for commercial and private were instead taken into private domain.  Sadly, the electric car of the early 1900’s was halted and later only a few private companies were able to produce it.  There were cars in the 1900’s in early models that ran more than 300 miles without hot electricity systems that are used today.

Writing Backwards is considered an early Dyslexia habit. Dyslexics see the world in 3 dimensions rather than two. Objects in two dimension can rotate making letters on a page reverse causing writing backwards habits, replicating what is seen.

The intelligence of the Dyslexic is more advanced than the English alphabet.  The English alphabet although fantastic in its own ways allows for repeating letters when inverted.

Dyslexia Fonts

Dyslexia Fonts and Items that help reading.  Dyslexia Fonts have unique letters that do not become one another when reversed or inverted.

If the Dyslexic Reader is able to see the differences in the letters it should not matter if they read upside down or right side up.  Reading is the extraction and consideration of the information put forth.

Many Dyslexia Readers are capable of reading books upside down just as easier as right side up.  Using Dyslexia Fonts will assist them in differentiating the English alphabet.  The Greek alphabet is not a Dyslexia language become its letters do not become other letters if inverted.

Many other languages do not have inverted letters that become other letters. English b becomes d, p and sometimes q in regular fonts. Dyslexia Fonts decipher the differences to each letter.
